This is the right edition for a home computer, a student machine or a single-user PC that does not join a company network. If any part of that last sentence does not describe your machine, read the Home against Pro section below before you order, because the difference costs $10.

Buy Home if the PC is for personal use and nobody needs to connect to it remotely. Buy Windows 11 Pro at $69.99 if you need drive encryption, if you work from home and remote into this machine, or if it will ever join a work network. Check your hardware first
Windows 11 is stricter than Windows 10 about what it will install on, and this is where most failed installs come from. Confirm all of the following before you order.

TPM 2.0 is the one that catches people out. Most machines built from 2017 onward have it, but it is sometimes switched off in the BIOS rather than absent. Press Windows key and R, type tpm.msc and press Enter to see what your PC reports. After you order
Delivery is by email, normally within 5 to 60 minutes. You receive the product key, the official Microsoft download link and step-by-step install instructions. The license is perpetual, so it does not expire and there is nothing to renew. If the key will not activate, contact us and we will sort it out rather than send you to Microsoft.
